A Placement Delivery Matrix for Campaign Images

A platform name is not enough to identify a campaign asset. Use a delivery matrix that records placement, aspect ratio, language and version together.
Describe the publishing surface
Feeds, stories, vertical video covers and advertising placements can have different requirements within the same platform. Record the exact surface and whether the use is organic or paid. Confirm current technical conditions through official platform guidance instead of carrying an old size list into a new campaign without checking it.
Distinguish the key visual from adaptations
Once the core idea is approved, review the information sequence for each ratio. Moving from square to portrait involves more than extending the edges. Check that the heading, product and next step remain visible. Inspect interface overlays in the preview; do not assume one safe area applies to every placement.
Remove ambiguity for the publisher
Keep filename, placement, language and approval status in the same record. Make replacement versions identifiable. When wording changes in one export, review other adaptations using that wording as well. Store editable source files separately from publishing exports.
Include the uploaded preview
Platform compression and cropping may create a different result from the local file. Have the responsible publisher inspect the preview. Allowing time for this check in the social media production plan helps prevent an incorrect format from circulating through an entire campaign.
